Our Mission

The Knights of Columbus, founded by Blessed Michael McGivney in 1882, is dedicated to fostering a strong Catholic community among men. Their mission emphasizes the following key aspects:

Empowerment: The organization encourages Catholic men to actively live out their faith in various aspects of life, including at home, in their parishes, and within their communities.

Service: Members are called to serve not only their families but also their local parishes and broader communities. This includes engaging in charitable works and supporting those in need.

Core Principles: The Knights of Columbus is guided by the principles of charity, unity, and fraternity. These principles shape their activities and interactions, fostering a sense of brotherhood among members.

Faith in Action: The organization seeks to invite every Catholic man to join and participate in their mission, extending their charitable reach and building lifelong relationships through shared faith and service.

Community Building: The Knights of Columbus aims to create a Christ-centered brotherhood that encourages members to grow in holiness and virtue, ultimately contributing  to the betterment of society.

This mission reflects the Knights of Columbus’ commitment to living out their faith through action and service, making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and communities.
